Türkiye's First Lady Emine Erdoğan has praised the Maarif Foundation Schools as Türkiye's window opening to the world in international education.

The first lady is accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the G20 leaders’ summit that is being held in South Africa’s commercial capital, Johannesburg.

Emine Erdoğan participated in some programs at the summit and toured the International Maarif School in the city, where she met learners and their teachers.

“In the sincere welcome of our children, I deeply felt Africa’s warmth, colorful culture and strong spirit,” she said in a post shared on her X social account.

“I wish that our Maarif Schools, which are our country’s window opening to the world in international education, continue to strengthen bridges between societies in this rich geography,” she noted.

The first lady also toured an exhibition at the school themed “Recycling and Environment” and received information from students and teachers about the works displayed.
