The Confederation of African Football has confirmed the dates and kick-off times for the quarter-final matches of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League, setting up a series of high-profile ties across the continent in March.

One of the headline clashes will see Egyptian giants Al Ahly face Tunisian champions Espérance Sportive de Tunis. The first leg will be played in Tunis on 15 March, with the return leg scheduled in Cairo on 21 March.

South African side Mamelodi Sundowns will begin their quarter-final campaign at home against Mali’s Stade Malien on 13 March. The second leg will be played in Bamako on 22 March.

Egypt’s Pyramids FC will take on Morocco’s AS FAR, with the first leg set for 13 March in Morocco before the return fixture in Egypt on 21 March.

Other clashes

In another tie, Morocco’s RS Berkane will host Sudanese club Al Hilal in the first leg on 14 March, while the return leg will take place on 22 March.

The quarter-finals will be played over two legs, with the winners advancing to the semi-finals of Africa’s premier club competition.

According to the tournament bracket determined during the draw in Cairo earlier last month, the winner of the tie between Esperance and Al Ahly will face the team that progresses from the Mamelodi Sundowns and Stade Malien match-up.

On the other side of the bracket, the winner of the clash between AS FAR and Pyramids FC will meet the victor from the tie between RS Berkane and Al Hilal.

The semi-finals are scheduled for April, with the first legs set to take place between 10 and 12 April and the return legs between 17 and 19 April. The two-legged final will be played in May to decide the new African club champion.
