According to Army spokesperson for 6 Division, Lieutenant Colonel Jonah Danjuma, from 23 November reach 28 December 2025, soldiers bin catch 19 people wey dem suspect say na oil thieves. Dem don also scatter 22 illegal refinery and bunkering site, recover more than 180,000 litres of stolen petrol products wey worth pass N150 million.

Danjuma talk say this joint operation don give criminals serious wahala, dem no fit operate freely again for many oil-producing states.

For Bayelsa State, soldiers destroy one illegal refinery for Siebu Creek inside Ogbienbiri, Southern Ijaw LGA. Dem find one big reservoir wey carry more than 75,000 litres of stolen crude oil plus pumping machine.
