Di Nigerian goment , through di Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), don announce on Tuesday say dem dey suspend all pilgrimages to Israel immediately. Dis one na because of di security wahala wey dey happen for Middle East.

Bishop Stephen Adegbite, wey be di Executive Secretary of NCPC, make dis announcement for statement wey Mr Celestine Toruka sign. Mr Toruka na Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations for di commission, and dem release di statement on Tuesday for Abuja.

Di bishop yarn say dis move necessary because di Commission dey put di safety and comfort of Nigerian pilgrims first.

"Di recent tins wey dey happen for Middle East, including di state of emergency wey dem declare for Israel, don make us put all pilgrimage activities on hold.

"Dis one include di ones wey private pilgrimage operators dey do, until di situation better.

"NCPC dey monitor di situation well well, and we appreciate di way stakeholders and media dey cooperate with us," im tok.

Adegbite urge everybody make dem pray for peace for Jerusalem and di whole Middle East region.

Im also reveal say di Commission don successfully finish di 2025 Main Pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan. Im yarn say di last set of Christian pilgrims don land safely at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on March 3.
