Reports wey contradict each other come out on Monday say some armed men don kidnap more than 100 worshippers for one church wey meet on Sunday for Kurmin Wali, a village inside Kajuru Local Government.
But as the Kaduna State Commissioner of Police dey speak to journalists on Monday after the State Security Council meeting for Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, him challenge anybody wey dey spread that story to make dem bring the names of those wey dem say dem kidnap.
E warn those people wey e call rumour mongers make dem stop dey try make the peace wey don dey Kaduna scatter, and e say dem go investigate and arrest anybody wey dey spread those kain false story.
Kajuru Local Government chairman, Dauda Madaki, tok say after e hear the rumour about the attack, e send police and other security officers go Kurmin Wali but dem no see any sign wey show say attack happen.
"We visit the church wey dem talk say people don dey kidnapped. No sign at all. I ask the village head, Mai Dan Zaria, and e also confirm say no attack happen," Madaki talk.
E add say e call the youth leader for the area, Bernard Bona, wey journalists interview, and Bona say nothing like that happen. So Madaki challenge anybody wey get names of people wey dem say dem kidnap make dem bring the names. E talk say e dey wait but nobody don come bring any list.
Madaki say e suspect some people wey no happy with the peace wey don return to Kajuru since this government start na dem dey spread the false story. E advise people make dem calm down, continue their normal business and report any suspicious movement or people wey dey spread rumour to the security agencies.
Also, the Commissioner for Internal Security, Suke Suaibu (SAN), talk say leaders from CAN and other religious leaders don meet with people for the area wey dem talk say attack happen, and dem confirm say all the things wey dem dey show around na complete lie.
