One Indonesian hydrographic ship wey dem call KRI Canopus 936, yesterday park for Western Naval Command (WNC) of Nigerian Navy for Apapa, Lagos, as part of di two kontris' cooperation for marine technology and hydrographic operations.

E add say both navies go explore collaboration for hydrographic surveys, maritime domain awareness and anti-piracy operations, as e compare Indonesia dia Malacca Strait security arrangement wit Malaysia and Singapore to di ECOWAS Integrated Maritime Strategy Zone E wey involve Nigeria, Benin Republic and Togo.

According to am, better cooperation for hydrography go help improve understanding of marine resources, ocean circulation patterns and fisheries habitats inside Nigeria maritime domain.

Mustapha announce say Nigeria get plans for technical exchange between hydrographic personnel of both navies to strengthen capacity development and operational procedures.
