According to statement wey im OSGF’s Head, Information and Public Relations, Chris Ugwuegbulam release, Akume say di government of President Bola Tinubu still dey committed to di protection, welfare and empowerment of refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced persons, as e dey follow di Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Nigeria currently dey host over 100,000 refugees and asylum seekers, mostly from countries inside Lake Chad Basin region, while millions of Nigerians still dey displaced inside di country because of different humanitarian crises.
“Di Federal Government response dey based on three main pillars: protection, livelihoods, and lasting solutions, wey dem dey carry out through di National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons,” na so dem quote am.
