Di Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) don announce 31 companies as winners of 37 oil and gas blocks for di 2025 Licensing Round, afta one competitive bidding process wey attract 200 bids from 143 companies.

Di winners emerge for di commercial bid conference wey happen for Tuesday for Transcorp Event Centre, Abuja. Dat one mark di end of di competitive phase of di licensing exercise.

According to di commission, di 37 awarded blocks wey dem select from di 50 oil and gas blocks wey dem offer across Niger Delta onshore, shallow water and deep offshore areas, plus di frontier basins of Benue Trough, Chad Basin, Anambra Basin and Benin Basin.
