Major General Samaila Uba, wey be spokesperson for Nigeria Defence Headquarters, tell Reuters say Abuja ask US make dem come give technical training and advisory work for different places.

"Dis people no be combat soldiers, dem no go carry gun for any operation," Uba tok. "Nigerian forces still dey in charge of all command authority, we dey make all operational decisions and we go lead all missions for Nigeria land."
