Some brick workers lose dia lives afta one sand pit wey dem dey use for brick-making collapse for Ridawa village, Ghari Local Government Area of Kano State, on Wednesday.
Di incident happen while di labourers dey dig one deep place for brick production.

People wey see wetin happen talk say di collapse cause serious fear for di community as fellow workers and residents rush to di place to start rescue work.

Di member wey represent Ghari/Tsanyawa Federal Constituency, Sani Bala, talk say di first reports show say about 10 people trap for underground.
He bin call for urgent help from di authorities wey suppose handle such matter, con appeal make dem send special rescue equipment to support di work wey dey go on.
“We need urgent help to save those wey still dey trapped. Di community dey try dia best, but we need professional rescue support,” he talk.

As at di time wey we file this report, rescue work still dey continue, with villagers and emergency responders dey dig through di rubble to try reach those wey dey inside.
But many victims still dey trapped, wey dey raise fear say di number of dead people fit increase.

Residents note say such kind incident dey happen plenty for rural brick-making sites, where workers often dey operate for deep pits without proper safety measures or anybody wey dey monitor dem.
