Na bad news again for Kaduna State as armed bandits attack farmers for Birnin-Gwari Emirate for Saturday afternoon. Dem kill nine farmers and carry many villagers wey dem neva know their whereabout.

According to wetin people for area talk, di attack start around 3pm when di farmers dey work for their farms. One resident, Ibrahim Garba, say di whole wahala start as two bandits come try to snatch one farmer motorcycle. But di tori turn, as one of di bandits die for di process.

"Di other bandit run comot, but im come back with many of im people wey carry heavy weapons, and dem begin attack di farmers anyhow," Garba yarn.

So far, na nine dead bodies dem don recover from di farms. Dem don identify six of dem: Habibu Danko, Zaharaddin Musa Gumu, Maibaka Mayana, Umar Maibaka, Yusufu Dankatakaki, and Shaf'iu Kagadama. But three pipo wey die, dem no know their names yet.

Di bandits still carry many farmers go. Some pipo dey fear say dem don kill some of dem already.

Garba say di vigilante pipo wey wan go search for di people, dem stop as night come, because di place no easy to move for darkness.

Anoda resident, Ishaq Kasai, wey be security consultant for Northwest and former chairman of Birnin-Gwari Emirate Progressive Union, say dem go continue di search for more bodies or anybody wey survive.
