US Congress dey ask for strong agreement between America and Nigeria to protect Christians, fight terrorists, and stop Russia and China from dey influence Nigeria too much.

Di recommendation come from joint statement by House Appropriations Committee and House Foreign Affairs Committee, wey Congressman Riley Moore share for X on Tuesday.

For one statement wey dem title “Ending the Persecution of Christians for Nigeria,” Congress praise President Donald Trump say im put Nigeria back as Country of Particular Concern, and dem talk say di move go make those wey dey do violence face justice.

For October 2025, US announce say Nigeria go dey added again to US Department of State list of Countries of Particular Concern.

Dem first put Nigeria for di list for 2020 under President Trump, but dem remove am small time after former President Joe Biden take over.
