Di conference happen afta di state House of Assembly report say diphtheria don scatter for Rano and oda local govment areas, and di disease don kill more than 50 pikin.

“Kano State don even write letter to Federal Government make dem send more and more vaccine so we fit vaccinate our pipo,” di KNCDC DG talk.

But e still beg residents, especially parents, make dem dey quick report diphtheria and oda sickness to hospital so dem fit treat am fast.

“We dey beg parents make una report early o. If una come hospital early, na dat one dey save life.

“And even if na not sickness, any problem wey long and complicated, to handle am dey hard.
“So, abeg make una go di hospital near una. If di sickness fit spread fast, dem go alert us,” e talk.

Prof Abbas, wey vex say some residents no dey report sickness to hospital, talk say dem get 126 pipo wey dey monitor sickness for all di 44 local govment areas for state.

“So, e really dey pain us say we get cases wey reach 50 wey nobody even report to hospital.”
