Di Nigerian Public Health Institute say di case fatality rate (CFR) stand at 25.2 percent, wey high pass di 18.5 percent wey dem record for di same period for 2025.

According to di report, 26 new confirmed cases happen for Week 13, wey reduce compare to 51 cases wey dem report for di week before.

Di cases happen for seven states – Edo, Bauchi, Ondo, Taraba, Ebonyi, Benue, and Kaduna.

But di agency note say di overall burden of di disease still high, with total of 663 confirmed cases out of 3,831 suspected cases wey dem report across 22 states and 93 local government areas so far dis year.

“Di number of suspected and confirmed cases don increase compare to di same period for 2025,” di report tok.
