Di Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede, don tell sojas to increase their attacks against bandits for North-West, and he talk say make dem make Nigeria safe “by any means necessary.”

Oluyede give this order on Monday when he go visit sojas wey dey under Operation Fansan Yamma for Gusau, Zamfara State.

He talk say di visit na to check how soljas dey ready, see wetin dey stop dem from working well, and to encourage dem for this fight against banditry.

“My message to the soldiers clear: make dem go out there and finish all these criminals. We must make Nigeria safe at all cost,” he talk.

Di CDS strong again say military go remove banditry from North-West, and he stress say if dem continue to pressure criminal groups, security go return to the whole region.

Concerning the need for more air support, Oluyede talk say dem get limited resources now, but dem dey try to improve wetin Nigerian Air Force fit do.

“We dey do our best with the equipment we get. These resources dey share across many battle areas, but government dey work to buy more equipment to help ground soldiers,” he explain.

He also thank Zamfara State Government and people for their support for military operations.

Oluyede talk say the new armoured vehicles wey dem buy, including Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) platforms, don help make operation better.

He still call on local communities to cooperate more, especially for getting information, and he stress say good and fast information still very important to break bandit networks and make peace dey for all over Nigeria.
