Somalia has been hit by devastating floods that killed at least 30 people and displaced about 300,000 others in recent days with some communities submerged. Baidoa, Bardhere and the capital Mogadishu are among the places affected. The UN has described the flooding as ''once-in-a-century. Several other countries in Africa including Kenya, Ethiopia and Nigeria are facing flooding.
