Foreign ministers from Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE talk as one on Tuesday say dem condemn Israel decision to mark big areas for the occupied West Bank as "state land". Dem tok say the move na serious escalation wey dey break international law and e fit spoil chances for peace.

According to official statement wey Turkish Foreign Ministry release, top diplomats from the eight countries criticize Israel for approving procedures to register and settle land ownership for wide areas inside the occupied West Bank — first time dem take such step since 1967.

Dem ministers talk say the step illegal and warn say e go make settlement expansion and land confiscation quicken.

"Dis illegal step na big escalation wey dem dey use to quicken illegal settlement activity, to seize land, to deepen Israeli control and to apply unlawful Israeli sovereignty for the Occupied Palestinian Territory," the joint statement talk.

Na against international law

Signatories talk say the decision break international humanitarian law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention, and e also break relevant UN Security Council resolutions — especially Resolution 2334 — wey call on Israel make e stop settlement activity.

Statement still mention advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ), say the measure contradict the findings wey say any policy wey change the legal, historical and demographic status of the occupied territory na unlawful.

Dem ministers warn say the move look like dem wan force "a new legal and administrative reality" wey fit threaten the chance for two-state solution and fit make the region dey more unstable.

Dem reaffirm say dem reject any one-side measures, and dem urge the international community make dem take "clear and decisive steps" to stop the violations and protect Palestinian rights, including self-determination and to establish independent state based on the June 4 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as capital.
